At Britannia we aim to provide you with a safe, happy, comfortable home away from home. London hosts are selected for their friendliness and their homes must meet British Council and English UK standards. We have an exceptionally good choice of homestay accommodation offering hundreds of great rooms throughout the city (Zones 1-5). All Britannia homestays are conveniently located, close to public transport and offer a high standard of accommodation. Students can socialise and eat with their host family, and language students can benefit from the chance to practise their English. The host will provide accommodation and meals as booked. Rooms will be cleaned and bed linen and towels changed at least once a week. The student will be provided with his/her own house key and the host is there to offer help and advice as well as to take an interest in the student’s well-being. We aim to match a student’s requirements as closely as possible with a suitable host. Language students will not be placed in the same homestay as others of the same mother-tongue, except by special request. English is always the main language spoken in the home. Homestays can accommodate a maximum of 4 students at any one time, depending on the size of the home.

With Barbican Station and Farringdon Station just a short walk away, travelling around London is quick and easy. Students can choose between en-suite rooms in shared flats, private studios or fully furnished two-bedroom flats. The residence also includes all-inclusive bills, laundry facilities, parcel service, bike storage, and shared spaces such as a TV lounge, study areas and social lounge.

Rathbone Apartments offer 15 large bedrooms in 5 apartments, bookable by room, bed or apartment. Decorated in modern style with good storage space, comfortable beds, desks, chairs and flat screen TV in each bedroom. Fully equipped kitchens are stocked with a washer/ dryer, microwave, iron and ironing board. Internet access, utility bills, Council Tax, weekly cleaning and bed linen change, bedding, linens and towel are included in the rate.
